School will be canceled tomorrow, Wednesday, August 30, for all faculty, staff, and students due to potentially hazardous weather conditions from Hurricane Idalia.

The decision will be made tomorrow, Wednesday, August 30, at 3:00 p.m. as to whether roads and conditions are safe to resume school on Thursday, August 31.

Schools will be sending out notices to parents, via Infinite Campus messenger alerts, when the decision is made about Thursday. Notices will also be posted and updated on the Mitchell County School System website and Facebook page.

Summer meals are available at no cost to children ages 18 and under. Click on the title above for the dates, times and locations to pick up the meals.

Summer School will be held from May 30-June 22. Check with your child's school for particular dates and times for the school. For more info, contact your child's school.

The 6th grade students had a fun filled day at Providence Canyon on May 5 and wish to thank their chaperones Coach J. King, Mrs. V. McIntyre, Ms. K. Henderson, Dr. L. Wood for making this a special trip.

ALL middle school students attending Mitchell County football games MUST be accompanied by an adult in order to be admitted into the stadium.
