About Us

Mitchell County Middle School (MCMS) is a grade 6th-8th  public middle school located in, Camilla, Georgia. MCMS, while within the city limits of Camilla, is very much a part of a rural community. Farming, pecans, and poultry are the main industries in Mitchell County. Mitchell County Middle School seeks excellence and sets high expectations for all stakeholders. Our strength is our people: parents, students, administrators, teachers, staff, and the community. Faculty and staff work each day to ensure that we establish and maintain those rituals and routines that provide the academic rigor all students’ needs to become successful and productive citizens.

All of information on this site consists of data and other information which the Department already collects and in most cases published in some existing form, or which is collected and published by another department within state government such as the Department of Audits and Accounts.  HB 139 required the centralization of this information into a single web site, which is the purpose of this new reporting system.
