Dear Parents, Families, and Community Members,

As we begin another exciting school year, I am honored to welcome our students, families, faculty, staff, and community back to Mitchell County Middle School. Entering my second year as Principal of The Middle is both rewarding and humbling, and I remain grateful for the opportunity to serve a school that has played such an important role in my life. Having served Mitchell County Middle School as a student, teacher, assistant principal, and principal, I am deeply connected to this school and its legacy. This unique journey makes leading "The Middle" both a tremendous honor and a responsibility that I cherish.

Last year, we embraced the theme, "One Voice, One Vision, One Victory," and together we accomplished great things. Through collaboration, commitment, and a shared belief in our students, we strengthened our school culture, celebrated achievements, and focused on what matters most, teaching and learning.

As we enter the 2026–2027 school year, our theme remains the same because our mission remains the same. One Voice, One Vision, One Victory is more than a slogan; it is a commitment to working together through strong partnerships with families, educators, district leaders, and our fellow schools throughout the Mitchell County School System to ensure success for every student. At The Middle, teaching and learning will remain at the center of everything we do. Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to creating engaging learning experiences, building meaningful relationships, and helping students reach their full potential. While we celebrate our progress, we also recognize that there is still important work ahead. We will continue to maintain high expectations, foster meaningful relationships, and provide the support needed for all students to thrive in academics, athletics, extracurricular activities, and all aspects of their personal growth.

As the proud leader of "The Middle," I look forward to another year of growth, achievement, and Eagle Pride. Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our students and school. Remember, when we unite around a shared purpose and commitment to excellence, we establish a powerful foundation that empowers students to achieve, grow, and reach their fullest potential. Together, with one voice, one vision, and one victory, we will make this our best year yet.
