New Student Enrollment: How do I enroll my child in the Mitchell County School System? 
 Attention Parents: Registration of New Students (Early Learning-12th Grades) for the Mitchell County School System will be held at the individual schools.  

Early Learning-1st Grades:  Mitchell County Primary School at 50 Griffin Road, Camilla, GA 31730.  Contact:   Vanita Moore at 229-321-7003.

2nd-4th Grades:  Mitchell County Elementary School at 15815 Hwy 93, Baconton, GA 31716.  Contact:  Katrina Spence at 229-321-7004.

5th-7th Grades:  Mitchell County Middle School at 55 Griffin Road, Camilla, GA  31730.  Contact:  Trenise Sanders at 229-321-7005.

8th-12th Grades:  Mitchell County High School at 1000 Newton Road, Camilla, GA 31730.  Contact:  Alegra Robinson at 229-321-7006.

 

The following documents are required to complete the application process:
A copy of your child's immunization record, social security card, Ear-Eye-and Dental Form and birth certificate; and proof of residency  to give to the registrar upon enrollment of your child. For more details, contact your child’s school.  

 
 
Student Withdrawal:  How do I withdraw my child from the Mitchell County School System? 

Attention Parents of students in Early Learning-12th Grades:    Student Withdrawals will be processed at each school.

CCRPI  College and Career Readiness Performance Index  is Georgia's annual tool for measuring how well its schools, districts and the state itself are preparing students for the next education level.
 
ChildFind Project:  The Georgia Department of Education has a mission to locate, identify and evaluate each child, 0-21 years of age, with a suspected disability and to provide appropriate educational services to these children.
 
GA Milestones Assessment System is a comprehensive summative assessment program for grade 3 to High School.  Students in grades 3-8 take end-of-grade assessment in English Language Arts and Mathematics; students in grades 5 and 8 also are accessed in science and social studies.  High School students take an end-of-course assessment for each of the 10 courses designated by the State Board of Education including 9th Grade Literature, 11th Grade American Lit, Algebra I or Coordinate Algebra, Geometry or Analytic Geometry, Biology, Physical Science, United States History and Economics
