Counselor's Corner
Welcome Back to School Mitchell County Middle School Students and Families!
My name is Ashley Crimbley, and I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new School Counselor at Mitchell County Middle School. While this is my first year in this role at MCMS, I bring with me 17 years of experience in education in the areas of teaching and counseling. I am incredibly excited to be part of Eagle Nation and what we fondly call "The Middle."
It brings me great joy to begin this journey alongside our amazing faculty and staff as we prepare for a fantastic 2025–2026 school year. We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can SOAR to their highest potential. As your School Counselor, I am here to support students in navigating the social, emotional, academic, and career development challenges that can arise during the middle school years. This is such a critical time for students to discover who they are, explore their interests, and begin shaping their future.
I look forward to connecting with students one-on-one, in small groups, and during classroom guidance lessons. My primary goal is to promote the academic, career, and social/emotional development of all students. Building strong partnerships with parents/guardians, teachers, administrators, and staff is essential to ensuring every student receives the support they need. Together, we can help guide them toward success not only in middle school but as they transition into high school and beyond. If you need any guidance from me you can call the school office at (229) 321-7005 or email me at [email protected].
Please don’t hesitate to reach out — I’m here for you!
Warmly,Ashley Crimbley
School Counselor
