Welcome to Art! I am Mrs. Delk and I look forward to working with your students. In this class, students will learn about the Elements of Art and the Principles of Art/Design. Artwork created during the school year will consist of one or more of these elements/principles. Artwork will be inspired by visual stimuli, subjective experiences, and interpretations drawn from imagination or from observation. Students will use the following mediums: pencil, charcoal, oil pastels, soft pastels, watercolors, acrylic paints, mixed media materials.
Three Mitchell County Middle School students placed in the 2019 Pelham Wildlife Art Contest. Their winning pieces are currently displayed in the main hallway at Mitchell County Middle School. Congratulations students on the excellent work!
