Principal's Message

Dear Parents/Guardians:

As principal of Mitchell County Middle School, it is my pleasure to welcome everyone back for another exciting school term! It seems summer has flown by; however, I am very much looking forward to the first day when we begin to fill our hallways and classrooms with the energy and enthusiasm of our young eagles once again. As the year begins, I’m thrilled to be part of a team comprised of teachers and staff who are devoted to helping young people achieve great things.

 As always, our goal is to help students reach their full potential with regards to their academic ability, however, in reaching these goals we also want our students to be a part of the MCMS family. This year is going to be amazing as we continue to provide academic experiences for our students that are rigorous, relevant, and help them build relationships while creating real-world connections.  As a staff we will strive to be safe, prepared, and positive as we work with each of our individual students.

 I am truly honored for the opportunity to work with your student and with all students of Mitchell County and I look forward to meeting all of our parents in the near future.
