Mitchell County School System Clinic Assistant Job Description
Primary Purpose/Function:
To assist the local school by performing such tasks as
- Administering medications
- Providing first aid for minor injuries
- Monitoring student health status and absences
Essential Duties
- Provide basic first aid to students
- Assist students in taking medication
- Maintain health records
- Communicate with principal on matters pertaining to student health concerns
- Maintain confidentiality of students' health status
- Communicate with parents on matters pertaining to illness, injury, or absences due to illness
